
Axle spacer fitting guide
A guide to fitting your front motor wheel with or without the axle spacer

Begin by removing your bike's front wheel
Turn your bike upside down. Release your brakes, then loosen your front wheel and remove it.

Next determine your bike's fork dropout size
Using a ruler, tape measure or callipers measure the gap between the two sides of your fork dropout. Watch the video below to guide you.

Find your axle size
You can identify what axle size you need by measuring the gap with a ruler.

If your drop out measures as 9mm...
Remove the axle spacer, as your fork dropouts are already the perfect fit for securing your Swytch Motor Wheel, which has a 9mm axle. Keep the spacer aside in case you need it later or if your measurements were incorrect. For your safety, always ensure the wheel is securely fitted. If the wheel feels loose in the fork dropouts, double-check your measurements, as there may be an error.

If your dropout measures as 10mm...
