Since launching in 2017, Swytch has grown into a globally recognised company with an industry-leading product and more than 100,000 riders across 100+ countries.

Swytch TOUR
2017
In early 2017, CEO and co-founder Oliver Montague created the original Swytch eBike Kit concept and patented the design. By the end of that year, Swytch launched on Indiegogo, raising over $500,000.
With the funds, the team completed the first Swytch Kit, and in 2018, over 3,000 Kits were shipped to 45+ countries, marking the start of Swytch’s journey.
Swytch Eco/Pro
2019
Now a seasoned crowdfunding team, co-founders Oliver (CEO) and Dmitro (CTO) set out to elevate the Swytch Kit. With major R&D advances and user feedback, the second-gen Kit launched with a sleek, compact design—raising over $1M on Indiegogo and gaining media buzz.
Over the next two years, Swytch sold 35,000 Kits worldwide, expanding from under 10 to almost 50 employees. By 2020, 1 in 20 eBikes sold in the UK featured a Swytch Kit, cementing its place in the industry.
Swytch AIR/MAX
2021
In late 2021, Swytch introduced the AIR and MAX Kit, the next evolution in eBike conversion. Building on our original kit’s success, the AIR Kit features an ultra-light, pocket-sized battery for unmatched portability.
Led by CEO Oliver Montague and CTO Dmitro Khroma, the team refined the design over two years, using user feedback to perfect the patented quick-connect handlebar mount, allowing riders to electrify their bikes in minutes.
Swytch GO/GO+/GO++
2023
In the wake of rising living costs post-COVID, Oliver Montague recognised the need for a trustworthy and affordable solution to electric biking. Building on the success of the AIR Kit, the GO Kit was designed with one key goal: making electric bike technology even more accessible.
By integrating a larger, more powerful battery with an innovative Velcro mounting system, the GO Kit offers riders a robust yet simple solution which can power your rides for up to 60 miles on a single charge, while its universal compatibility makes installation easier than ever before.
Swytch MAX+/MAX++

Building on the huge success of the MAX Kit, the MAX+ and MAX++ was designed to give riders extended range and enhanced convenience. With a high-capacity battery offering up to 60 miles on a single charge, integrated USB-C charging for devices, and a built-in front light for added visibility, these two new Power Packs redefine what’s possible in a compact conversion kit.
